Award winning LEICHT kitchen collection
Inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, the KYOTO range represents a combination of traditional design and modern precisionAll-round stylish planning: LEICHT is presenting new curved side panels
The new WAKUU frame programme cuts a convincing figure with its clear, architecturally precise design language. A narrow frame measuring just 10 mm is the basic design element, adding subtle, linear accents. WAKUU comes in two versions: as a classic frame front in real wood and as WAKUU-FS in selected LEICHT colours. Both versions follow a common design concept and at the same time offer different planning options – thanks to their variable heights and widths, the fronts can be flexibly adapted to suit individual spatial situations. A quality feature of the veneered range is the continuous veneer finish: the frame fronts are made to measure, ensuring consistent lines and material appearance throughout the entire kitchen design. The wood version offers a selection of distinctive real wood surfaces, including light northern oak, warm tones such as textured oak abruzzo, and dark accented bergamo elm. In terms of lacquer, WAKUU-FS offers a wide range of colours: in addition to 18 carefully curated LEICHT standard colours, the range includes all shades of the RAL colour system as well as the exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® collection. In addition, WAKUU-FS incorporates LEICHT‘s own HYGGE colour concept: six RAL shades that are deliberately designed to create harmonious, Scandinavian-inspired interior effects and open up additional design freedom.
A striking functional detail is the designer handle 590 specially developed for this programme. With a width of 20 cm and a flat height of just 10 mm, it blends discreetly into the lines of the fronts. The integrated recessed handle ensures comfortable handling and emphasises the calm appearance. The handle is available in bronze dark and steel black finishes.
BAHIA is the focus product of architectural brand LEICHT. The latest innovation consists of a veneer front with an exciting surface created by its vertical groove structure. BAHIA thus draws on LEICHT’s successful surface programme BOSSA, but is different in a key design principle: in addition to the contrast between the raised surface and the grooves themselves, the special feature of BAHIA is the combination of two apparent opposites. Within any one front, the individual grooves are set asymmetrically to each other, but in the sequence of several fronts, an identical fanning structure emerges. The result is a symmetry within the asymmetry, a uniform and yet dynamic overall picture. LEICHT is enriching its portfolio with BAHIA, a new, classy-looking stylistic element, thus once again expanding its expertise in the design and implementation of a wide range of setups for the entire modern living space
