All-round stylish planning: LEICHT is presenting new curved side panels With new curved side panels for furniture fronts, the LEICHT architectural kitchen is expanding its design variety for kitchen and living room planning. The curved side panels ensure gentle transitions and emphasise the flowing character of modern living and kitchen spaces – a response to the growing demand for organic, inviting interiors. The curved side panels are available in the entire matt lacquer programme as well as in selected wood programmes from LEICHT. A combination with matching radii for worktops creates elegant and expressive room designs that combine homeliness and design.
Curved side panels with flowing lines create a new, generous sense of space: the matching curved side panels link individual units to create iconic furniture and give a classy finish to unit runs – in a choice of elegant real wood veneer or matt lacquer. As a design option with a wide range of possible finishes, they can be integrated with floor units, wall units and tall units, and are variable in height, width and depth. The organically shaped carcase sides literally round off the overall appearance of the design. Photo: LEICHT.
High-quality workmanship down to the very last detail characterises the LEICHT extension, as exemplified by a combination from the CLASSIC-FS programme in the matt lacquered colour mohair. The insides of the side panels match the visible fronts with the utmost precision, while a worktop made of compact material emphasises the stylish appearance with natural-looking recesses and lively structures. Generous radii at the corners of the worktop are flush with the curved silhouette. In addition to worktops, rounded finishing tops and table tops also contribute to the sculptural effect of the furniture. Photo: LEICHT.
Stackable and variable in height, floor-to-ceiling or protruding over the carcase sides – rounded solutions can be planned individually with CLASSIC-FF, CLASSIC-FS, TOPOS, TERMA and BOSSA to create the desired look. Curved side panels protrude over connected carcases or are manufactured with a floor-to-ceiling design precisely butted against the inside of the side panel. The rear of the furniture features a closed surface that matches the front. The result is furniture that is harmoniously designed all round. Photo: LEICHT.
Whether with a large radius or a small one – the side panels reveal their space-defining effect in two thicknesses: 5 cm and 15 cm, optionally rounded on one or two sides. Thorough radius planning ensures that worktops, finishing tops and table tops look homogeneous across the front and sides of the furniture. Matching worktops vary the design in different materials such as laminate, glass, porcelain ceramic 1.2 cm thick and solid wood or in the form of compact worktops. Photo: LEICHT.

From contrasting colours to gently graduated tones – the new curved side panels create homely furniture with a dynamic spatial effect. This is impressively demonstrated by a combination of the TOPOS and CLASSIC-FS programmes, presented in selected colour nuances from the exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colour range: vert anglais clair (Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colour system: 32041), l’ocre rouge (Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colour system: 32110), ombre naturelle moyenne (Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colour system: 32141) and bleu céruléen 31 (Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colour system: 32030). These harmoniously coordinated colours skilfully showcase the interior. Placed in the centre of the room, the high-quality workmanship of the organically shaped pieces of furniture is particularly compelling, as it is clear all round just how carefully all four sides have been designed. Thanks to the versatile selection of programmes, colours and surfaces, the extension facilitates individual plans that are eye-catching and radiate a timeless aesthetic. Photo: LEICHT
